Try new tricks on both stances overtime you will get more comfortable on one side. Tho keep in mind different ocasion may call for differemt stances (tho more on street)
If you try doing a tail whip while goofy and regular u should see which one is easier for you
Even if you can’t land the trucks, whatever you can do the best is probably what way you should ride✌️
There's an amazing pro skater Leandre Sanders (@skategoat on insta) that is often called an "ambidextrous" skater because he does different tricks most easily in different stances, and really has no native stance as a result. If you're comfortable with both stances, you have the opportunity to decide which stance you want to do with which tricks. Ex: doing scooter flip tricks based off of your dominant hand, fs/bs rotations base off of how your body wants to turn. Especially since switch is less of a thing for scooter folk than it is for skateboarders.
So use whatever stance feels comfortable on different tricks?
That's what I would do, personally. As others said, play around with it and see what you like. You may find that there is a stance you prefer as you learn more tricks, but until then you don't have to commit to a stance.
